I dip my Feet and let the Mosquitos bite.

Mass murder by the windows
Drawn against the light
the tempting, consuming flame.
I get my broom
ain’t going nowhere just now

Me and Elvis go for a ride
supplies needed, guests arriving
On the way we stop to discard the stack of empty glass bottles
We might be visiting soon again

I place my friends by the grill, that’s what friends are for.
And just when we stick our forks into the tender meat, the first drops hit the table.
Around the corner there’s shelter and mosquitos.
Stories being told, laughter louder than the thunder.
I do miss them
a lot.

House empty once more, doing nothing much
Feeling just a bit lonely I head over to my sister’s
She makes a mean knot!

Ok, so I’m a sucker for Sunsets – ain’t we all?
And so there was one more
and one Day less left of Freedom

Filling up the supplies down in the village, I stop by the train station.
Grand old building from the time when the city people would travel out for some wintertime recreation.
Not much happening now.
