A Zombie for old times’ sake

For the memories of zombies that floated on by, for shrimp cocktails at the race track restaurant, the posing at the winner circle with tons of people and no horse, for endless provocative political discussions steaming from the assumption that ”if you’re young and not red, you have no heart – if you’re old and red, you have no brain”.
Here’s to you for the surreal visit to a Swaziland casino, for the extended visit in Amsterdam while changing planes – ”to have some fun” – and for all thoose other things that helped widening my views of the world.
And yes, to you for bying me the first Beatles and Stones albums way back then, a geasture I childlishly cruel repaid by punching you in the stomach.
I’m sorry that I took so long coming back, that you had already left.
And no, this Zombie doesn’t taste as good as the ”real thing”.
So, there you are, looking at….memories. Gives me flashbacks, memories from the “golden days”, but memories faint as well as the zombies. Still, this zombie looks quite bright. An illusion I suppose enlighted by your memories.
And it´s a fantastic thing bringing a whole kind of lifestyle through this very tasty thing.

A very nice toast for the old times. Seems like it was special times indeed. And a special person too. Like you also are. And even if that zombie didn’t taste as good as the real thing it surely looks even better than the real thing in your photograph =) As the world always do when your’e holding the camera.

Looking at all of your pictures, it seems like I´ve been missing out. I don´t really have the time or the patience to catch up right now, but I´ll be back. Hopefully You´re still sober when I return…;-)
